Four Season’s First Aid Training courses helps meet regulatory requirements of having first aiders in a workplace. The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, require that all businesses, regardless of size, make a provision of first aid to their staff.

First Aid Training
Emergency First Aid at Work Training Course (1 Day)

Who is it aimed at?

Anyone who has been an appointed person for first aid if a risk assessment indicates that first aid training covering emergency protocols only, is sufficient for your workplace.

Assessment

The content of this course provides basic life-saving first aid and workplace health and Safety regulations, including:

  • The role of the first aider

  • Managing an emergency

  • Communication and casualty care

  • Bleeding (minor and severe)

  • Burns Choking (adult)

  • Fainting

  • Health and safety (first aid) regulations

  • Resuscitation (adult CPR)

  • Seizures (adult)

  • Shock

  • Unresponsive casualty

First Aid Training​

First Aid at Work (18-hour minimum) – 3 Days

Who is it aimed at?

Anyone who has been nominated to be a first aider and requires a comprehensive set of practical skills to become a confident first aider at work to meet the standards required to help comply with Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations.

Assessment

This comprehensive course provides the ability and knowledge to deal with first-aid emergencies and includes:

  • The role of the first aider

  • Head injuries

  • Managing an emergency

  • Health and safety (first aid) regulations

  • Communication and casualty care

  • Low blood sugar

  • Asthma

  • Poisoning

  • Bleeding (minor and severe)

  • Resuscitation (adult CPR)

  • Bone, muscle, and joint injuries

  • Seizures (adult)

  • Burns and scalds

  • Severe allergic reaction

  • Chest pains (including heart attack)

  • Shock

  • Choking (adult)

  • Spinal injuries

  • Eye injuries

  • Stroke

  • Fainting

  • Unresponsive casualty

 

Location

These courses are provided face-to-face in a classroom or can be delivered on site

Duration

The courses are either 1 day or 3 days depending on the level of first aid skills required


A certificate of attendance is issued following completion, which proves evidence that attendees have taken positive steps to demonstrate their professionalism and continued development.
