Childrens Cookery Courses
Following the success of running in-house cookery sessions at the majority of Primary and Middle Schools across the Island, we are really looking forward to developing children's cookery sessions directly through the Academy.
Cook 'N Eat
The Cook 'n Eat afterschool sessions start in Cowes from Monday 9th January (term-time) from 4 p.m. - 5.30 p.m. During these sessions, the children will cook - and eat together. This is a great way for children aged 5+ to socialise after school and for them to work together to produce a healthy, delicious meal that they will eat together. We will be incorporating numeracy - and equality and diversity in the form of recipes from around the world, as well as our favourite seasonal English fayre. The cost is £8.00 per child inclusive. There will be a maximum number of 15 children and bookings must be made in advance, please. Other venues across the Island will be opening, dependent on demand, so please contact us for further information.
Children's Cookery Academy
Children's Cookery Academy new term will start on Saturday 7th January 2012 at Quay House, Riverside Centre, Newport. Different time slots, as shown below, will ensure that all students get the very best out of the sessions. This will be a structured teaching environment where the emphasis will be on equipping students to learn cookery techniques as well as healthy eating habits that will last a lifetime.
Term fees equating to £8.50 per session must be paid in advance unless prior permission obtained. Our branded aprons (£9.50) are compulsory uniform and can be purchased at the first cookery session.
